Pearl Microphone Labs CC22
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
Overview:
The cardioid sister in the extremely useful 22 family
Pearl CC 22 is currently our most popular model. Unlike the common type of round, large condensers, our unique rectangular membrane capsule gives a very flat frequency response. The sound is extremely natural and makes the CC 22 an ideal choice for almost any studio application. Vocals, acoustic guitar, string sections, woodwind, percussion... the list of typical CC 22 usage is almost endless.
The CC 22 is the cardioid sister in the 22 family and probably the model you'll find most useful in most situations. Its 30mm diameter, side access design often makes it possible to capture sound where traditional condensers simply won't fit.
Besides using the CC 22 as a mono microphone, it can also be used in a pair for XY stereo or as the cardioid element in an MS stereo setup.
The CC 22 is finished in piano black ED lacquer with a yellow logo, ring and engraved model number.
